Spinks Carpentry Ltd is a family company specialising in both traditional methods as well as using the latest technologies of building materials. We create buildings and structures to the utmost standard of professionalism. Michael Spinks has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Our workforce strives for excellence in every project we undertake. Problem-solving in our industry is a given, but with our expertise and experience, our pro-active team will always find a solution.
About our workforce
Working with major construction companies over the years has made us mobile to most of the United Kingdom, stretching from Cornwall to Scotland, from the Channel Islands to the Isle of Man. Our tradesmen are NVQ qualified, CSCS and as appropriate CPCS, IPAF, and first-aid trained; all are up to date with the latest health and safety requirements. Our onsite teams will have access to the following in house qualified personnel: site managers (qualified with an SMSTS), Site supervisor (qualified with SSSTS), Appointed person for all lifting operations (qualified with CPCS), Crane supervisors for daily crane duties (qualified with CPCS) and Slinger/Signalers (qualified with CPCS). Spinks Carpentry operates a training program that brings into the industry time-served apprentices. We put our workforce through vigorous training to make sure all the projects we carry out are completed to the standard any professional would expect. Quality is what we strive for.
Over the years Spinks Carpentry has undertaken all aspects of timber erections from roof trusses, substrates for hard metals and single-ply roofing, first and second fix carpentry, and Glulam installation. Our ambitious team is always striving to better their skill set, therefore allowing us to navigate towards the more technical and bigger projects. |
